First driver free, extra drivers are $1 per day each

INSURANCE
(Note: Options 1 & 2 do not cover window and tyre damage; Option 3 covers all damage including windows and tyres)

IINSURANCE OPTIONS FOR DRIVERS 18 YEARS & OVER
Refundable bond (insurance excess) NZ$2000 (authorised) (does not include tyre/windscreen cover)
Option 1 bond reduction: further NZ$14 per day the excess/bond reduced to NZ1000 (authorised) (does not include tyre/windscreen cover)

Option 2 bond reduction: further NZ$17 per day the bond/excess is NZ$0 (includes tyre/windscreen cover and single vehicle accident, overhead and underbody damage)

JUCY STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT ALL CUSTOMERS TAKE THE EXCESS REDUCTION OPTIONS TO MINIMISE EXCESS EXPOSURE AND TRAVEL WITH PEACE OF MIND.

BOND
a) A bond is required for all hires. You will be asked to sign a separate security bond in the form of a credit card imprint. This bond is held by the owner and is NOT banked; it is our guarantee that the hirer will return the vehicle on time and in the condition that it was hired in.

RENTAL DURATION
24 hours on time of pick-up. There is a 1 hour grace period, if the car is over 1 hour late a full day is charged. Payment is to be made at the commencement of the hire by either cash/ traveler's cheques or credit card.

TAX
Goods and Services Tax (G.S.T) of 15% is included in all daily hire prices.

EARLY RETURNS
There are no refunds for early returns. Returning a hired vehicle early may incur a penalty equivalent to 1 days hire. The daily rate on any discounted or special hires may be recalculated at rack rates.

ONE-WAY RENTALS
Available between all branches, minimum hire days apply. Repositioning fees may apply. Please note that for hires from Auckland Airport Branch to Auckland City Branch a NZ$30.00 one way fee may apply

DAYS OF OPERATION
Please note that Jucy Rentals Auckland, Auckland Airport, Christchurch and Queenstown are all closed on Christmas Day. Pick up and drop offs on this day are not possible. In addition to this the Queenstown office is closed on the 26th of December, 1st and 2nd of January.
