GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE:
DAILY HIRE RENTAL RATE QUOTE INCLUDES

Free transfers on vehicle pick up from Airport or City to the Discover Depot
INSURANCE OPTIONS
STANDARD RATE (minimum level of insurance and already included in quoted rate):
Standard rate leaves you still to pay a Bond/excess of NZ$3000 (credit card imprint)
or options as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess. (Options are payable at the depot)
Insurance reduction options:
Excess Reduction 1: NZ$20 per day reduces bond to NZ$1500
Excess Reduction 2: NZ$30 per day reduces bond to NZ$250
Excess Reduction 3: NZ$40 per day reduces bond to Nil and includes tyres/glass cover (not windscreen)
Optional Windscreen and Glass cover is available for an extra NZ$50 per hire per vehicle.
ONE-WAY RENTALS
One-way rentals are available between Auckland/Christchurch to Hamilton, Graymouth, Christchurch, Blenheim. Nelson, Picton Naiper,etc. Enquire by email what the relocation costs are to non Depot areas
GENERAL HIRE INFORMATION
EARLIEST AND LATEST PICKUP/DROPOFF TIMES ALL DEPOTS
Auckland and Christchurch: Pick up/drop off between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Sunday except Christmas day, other times by prior arrangement
Nelson 8.00am – 6.00pm or other times by prior arrangement
Picton – by arrangement
Late returns will be charged on a per day basis.
MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
Minimum rental period is 7 days.
Minimum hire period of 10 days for hires picking up or dropping off between 15 Dec and 16 Jan
DRIVER LICENCES
All drivers must be over 21 years old and hold a current valid N.Z. Drivers license or approved international driver's license.
