ABOUT ARA
Ara are a small but friendly company with budget priced older campervans. Ara campers are an economical alternative to the more expensive motorhomes and campervans available to rent in New Zealand.
THE MOTORHOME
These reliable 2 berth camper vans provide your transport during the day, (the driving cabin has seating for 2-3 people), and then at night, you have all the facilities to allow you the freedom to camp independent of electrical hookup. Diesel (diesel levy applies for diesel models). 1997 Model.

INSURANCE OPTIONS
Compuslory daily Insurance NZ$16 Per day leaves you still to pay a Bond/Excess of NZ$1200 (Debited and refunded if no claims). (Standard rate does not include windscreen damage, tyre damage, tyre punctures and water damage)Options as below can be taken to reduce bond/excess. (Options are payable at the depot)

ONE WAY HIRES
One way and Return hires accepted between Christchurch and Auckland with no relocation charges. However charges will be payable for other places or if the drop off depot is changed during the hire.
EARLIEST AND LATEST PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF TIMES
Pickups from 8.30am and drop-offs by 4.30pm
COURTESY TRANSFERS
Free transfers between the airport and our depots on day of hire or return of vehicle, within office hours. Arrival flight details essential.
MINIMUM HIRE PERIOD
The minimum hire period is 7 days
DRIVERS LICENSES
All drivers must be at least 21 years old (Max 75) and hold a full and current New Zealand driver's licence, or an International Driving Licence, or a licence from the country of origin with English translation.
