Ara campers are an economical alternative to the more expensive motorhomes and campervans available to rent in New Zealand.
These reliable 2 berth camper vans provide your transport during the day, (the driving cabin has seating for 2-3 people), and then at night, you have all the facilities to allow you the freedom to camp independent of electrical hookup. Petrol or Diesel models but neither guaranteed (diesel levy applies for diesel models).
